After driving all night from Eau Claire to Chicago, we arrived at the airport at for in the morning.
Our final destination today is the Congo, with layers in Washington DC and Ethiopia. Total flight time around 23 hours.

The bus rides are definitely the problem. I hiked 3.5 thousand feet up and the next day had no soreness or discomfort of any kind.
