First Aid
Here are just a few examples of how your contributions are not only helping to aid people here spiritually, but also give them relief of physical ailments as well.
Thomas, one of the elders of the church, wanted to relay his gratitude for the toothpaste and toothbrush. He had been having much pain in his teeth and gums and was only able to eat very soft foods. After brushing regularly these past two months he is experiencing relief and is able to eat the good stuff again.
One woman’s daughter has some sort of infection in her ankle, causing it to swell and making walking very uncomfortable. She will be able to go and get it examined and treated now.
A few in the congregation were plagued by bugs burrowing under the skin in the feet, causing a terrible itch and swelling of the toes. This was remedied by buying a simple jar of petroleum jelly, which when applied liberally, suffocated the bugs that were under the skin and were forced to come out.
It is our prayer that God would continue to be faithful as He has been in the past, providing the means with which we can fulfill these needs.
