To Do List
So here’s the plan going forward. I’m here in Matunda/Milimani/Moi’s Bridge for the next two weeks. Then it’s off to Kisii for two consecutive weeks of teaching at the seminary there. Then it’s back ‘home’ for a week, before I head to Nairobi, tie up a few loose ends and fly “home”…no, wait…just home, no quotations. Sounds so easy. Here’s a few of the things remaining.
Making more progress on the well-drilling project. Right now, we are still trying to find a nearby company that will work with us on this project.
Shipping out catechisms to many of our congregations throughout East Africa while in Nairobi.
Assembling the bios for our 100 or so students.
Getting Christmas gifts on behalf of KINSHIP while in the Etago area for the orphan school down there.
Finishing out the study of the catechism up at Milimani and celebrating confirmation and the Lord’s Supper.
Producing a home-made hymnal for use in our church and hopefully for a few other congregations. The one formerly used is out of stock and out of print EVERYWHERE.
Conduct the recommended two week intensive study provided by Pastor Mayhew for our students down in Chotororo.
Visit a congregation in Maasai Mara, near the Kisii area to see a congregation that has recently installed iron sheets provided by the MDF.
Organize locations and plans for the 2012 Mission Helper Trip.
Drink delicious coffee throughout.
Those are the big ticket items in addition to the usual fare.
We humbly ask you to remember this work and these congregations in your prayers.
