Kadapa the Rest of the Week
We are on the way to class at Alagada, Kurnool District.
The road is under construction most of the way to make it a 4 lane road with a median. One of the biggest problems are the many bridges or culverts to be installed. So the bridge construction is behind the road construction. They will still have the variety of vehicles on the new roads.
It has been muddy so the farmers put on mud wheels to keep from sinking in too deeply.
Pastor K Barnabas built his house on adjoining property to the church. He rememberd Pastor Reim, myself, Allison and Laura, except he thought I was Canadian. We got a late start today and had to cut the lesson down to its lowest point so far. His wife prepared lunch for us.
These are sights as we saw during the driving time. I get a lot of pictures, but sometimes the movement of the car or my hand makes them too blurry.
The Rayachotti District met here for the meeting. Pastor Raja (2nd from left) Shakar’s family lives to the left and the church is to the right in 1/2 of a building. I keep a small notebook to write names as I meet people. Pastor’s wife Elizabeth made lunch for us. His daughter Arunnaa helped serve it to us in the church. Their son Thomas is about 3; he just watched.
The meeting for the Rajampeta was in a church on the edge of a village by itself. There was no lunch at the church. We went down into town to eat at a sidewalk restraurant. It was the last day with Pastor Victor so I up loaded the pictures I had taken from the camera to computer to a memory stick for him. It contained a video and was slow to copy.
Kumar and I got some snacks and left without eating to get back to Chennai before it was too late. We were caught in rush hour (5-9) as we had to pass through Chennai to the apartment on the south side. We got to the apartment a little after 8 then Kumar had to catch a bus to get home.
